Vishwajith’s Great Indian Family Trip to Dubai with Thrillophilia!
Dubai welcomed a group of 12 people, a family with kids and senior citizens, in December 2022. They were a jolly bunch of people who were super thrilled to visit this land of luxuries and gold.
With loads of bags and suitcases, kids, and aged members, this big fat Indian family entered the Dubai Airport. Since they had booked their trip with Thrillophilia, they already had their car waiting at the airport, ready to escort them to the hotel. Mr Sushant and Mr Nikhil were their POCs, who were in contact with Vishwajith throughout.
In Vishwajith’s words, “We had opted for a hotel change at the last moment of the trip, so we were not sure if the transfers would be coordinated properly. To our satisfaction, the driver was informed about this schedule change and we did not face any kind of hiccups.”
The newly chosen hotel had much better facilities and rooms, after all, Dubai demands to be explored in comfort. The hotel was not just elderly-friendly, it also had a kid’s zone where they could play and make friends with other kids!
The family did not have a very hectic itinerary. Since they had so many members across age groups, they thought it would be best to keep the plan simple and tour the place with enough time in hand to explore each attraction thoroughly.
It starts. The family adventure
The Anugu family got late to get ready on the first day of the trip. Everybody wanted to be in their best get-up, so they lost track of time managing things within themselves. Vishwajith was worried that the driver would leave if punctuality was not maintained. But no!
He was patiently waiting there in the hotel lobby along with the guides, and there was no speck of irritation on their faces. Anyhow, the trip started with a visit to the grand Dubai Frame! And then they moved on to watch the iconic Burj Khalifa. It was so tall and stout that it was difficult to see the top of the building. Upon that, the glass walls of this monument seemed to throw off light in directions, all over Dubai.
But then came a place where the kids felt in wonder- the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo. This spot-on marine adventure offered an experience of a lifetime, not just to them, but to all.
The entire family was entertained, with dolphins playing around in loops and smiling at the small ones. They saw starfish, jellyfish, piranhas, seahorses and so much more! They took almost two hours to explore the entire place and then finally wrapped up the day with a delicious dinner at one of the best restaurants there- Amelia Lounge.
They went to the View at the Palm, the next day. Since it was the prime hours, there was too much of a crowd. Now, being a big family, it was a bit challenging to stick together, so they decided on-spot to upgrade the tickets. As it was a sudden change in the plan, they had to coordinate with Thrillophilia- Mr Sushant, Mr Nikhil and their tour guides helped them get through this.
“Thrillophilia was a blessing for us. They accompanied them throughout and even considered the off-the-itinerary stops that they wished to take occasionally. They enhanced our family’s whole travel experience”, said Vishwajith.
The Highlights
Three activities threw the family off-guard…in a very surprisingly rewarding way. They never thought their Dubai experience could be this diverse and happening!
First up, is the luxury private yacht ride. The beautiful blue shade of the Persian Gulf was overwhelming to watch, adding to that was the spectacular scenery of Dubai’s cityscapes. The yacht had everything in it from bedrooms to dining areas, offering a whole new level of experience to them.
The hot air balloon ride gifted the family with spectacular sights of the Dubai deserts. And the sunrise gave an unforgettable feeling to them- some adults had tears in their eyes, some kids were silent in awe, while some simply soaked in every moment of the ride, and every inch of the sun rising. Vishwajith, however, felt quite hopeful. He looked at his family and sensed a wave of pride washing over.
Later that day, they went for the ATV rides and the mesmerising dessert safari on camelbacks. The sunset graced their evening routine. They stood still just beside a large oasis and looked at the sun setting. The whole day had revealed to them the other side of this destination.
Their day ended munching on some tasty falafel, dango, Fatteh and Knafe, along with a lovely dance performance. The camp was also well-equipped, with all modern facilities available. The service was also on point, and the place was quite hygienic as well.
The whole family was so pleased with the entire arrangement of the trip. They had no issues on the trip and everything went smoothly. The team’s helpful and compassionate nature had achieved success!
Glad, they also vouched to go on another international trip in future. The same group, just a different destination!
