A Memoir of Gold and Glamour: Prakash's Dubai Trip with Thrillophilia
Dubai is the land of luxury, and travelling to this destination demands one to experience all its offerings- from the incredible sightseeing tours of the best attractions to Yacht rides and museum visits.
This destination was Prakash and his group's first preference for a trip last year. While planning for this trip, they wished for the best travel agency that could accommodate their interests. So, after taking quotations from across 4-5 travel companies, they settled for Thrillophilia.
After checking the reviews of this company, they found out the number of Mr Pradyuman Singh of Thrillophilia’s Dubai team. Getting a fully customised package that included activities for adults and kids alike, he was quite impressed.
The next level of consultation took place with Mr. Mrigendra Gupta, who promised a few surprises for them.
“Just lay back and relax sir, we have arranged for a few surprises for your Dubai and Abu Dhabi trip, and we are sure you would like these additions.”
Mr. Prakash responded to this, “I am placing my bet on you because of your cooperative and helpful nature, but we are still a bit sceptical regarding this trip. We want to have a fabulous time with our families and friends, please ensure that we are not disappointed.”
They thought they were taking a risk…boarding with us for the first time, doubtful about whether the arrangements would be carried out professionally.
Thanks to Mr Sharma from Thrillophilia’s operations team, the visa, insurance, and flight tickets were all arranged on time. Everything was done online, and Prakash did not even have to call them twice for updates.
The beginning of an exceptional experience
On the day of departure, all of the 11 members of the group boarded the flight with a grin on their faces and anticipation in their eyes.
But the trip unfolded in a completely different direction. They did not get disappointed, but something extraordinary had happened.
They flew to Dubai first, and from there they were driven to Abu Dhabi. Noting the flexibility, commitment, punctuality, and mannerisms of the driver, Prakash and his group were starting to trust that this trip would be a nice escapade.
Their first stay was at Park Inn by Radisson Abu Dhabi, on Yas Island. Mesmerising by the beauty and services of the hotel, the entire group rejoiced in happiness. That day was a leisure day on their itinerary, so they called up Mr. Mrigendra for some suggestions of where to go.
Content with the communication and the 24/7 availability of Thrillophilia, as they promised, Prakhas finally let go of all his worries and started doing what he had come here to do- relax and have some fantastic experiences!
The first surprise
They came out of their hotel on Day 2, all ready for a city tour, and found a limousine waiting at the gate. Surprised, and elated, they rechecked with Mr. Sharma if this was their designated car for the day. After hearing a ‘yes’ from the other side, their excitement knew no bounds!
They also visited the Yas Water Park that day, with a private guide accompanying them. For the kid, it was a total blast! But she had more of it coming.
The next day they toured the Warner Bros Studio and the Ferrari World, which thrilled her to the core! When asked which part she liked the most, she answered ‘Gotham City Theme Park’. But after the roller coaster ride at Ferrari World, the world’s fastest one, her answer had changed. Little did she know that her answer would change multiple times over the trip, hoping to ‘Lost Chamber' and then to Miracle Garden in Dubai.
He was getting ready for the Dubai city tour when he received a call from Mrigendra again.
The second surprise
A limousine was ready to tour them around the magnificent city of Dubai. But the phone call was not about this. Mrigendra had called to update the itinerary.
After the city tour, they were to visit the Sky Observatory, but it was postponed due to some unforeseen reasons. So, to compensate for the same, they had another activity planned for the day. What, where, when, Prakash did not even have the moment to ask these questions when he heard-
“You all will be going for a Yacht Ride in the Arabian Sea. Your lunch will be included in this activity.”
Prakash was at a loss for words. To keep the surprise undercover, he did not reveal this news to the group. After the city tour, when they were escorted to the dock, everyone was shocked.
Delighted and electrified, all 11 of them were stunned.
Long story short, they had a great time on the yacht ride, it was their first ever experience like this and they all savoured every moment of it.
The missing piece of the puzzle
The next two days went exploring the magical AYA world, Miracle Garden, Global Village, and Lost Chamber, they also went for a thrilling desert safari where the ATV rides stirred the adventurous spirits in them!
Wrapping up the trip, the last destination to tour was The View at The Palm. They had a relaxing time there, witnessing the best sunset of their lives and watching the entire skyline light up with a million lights as if the night sky had offered its stars as a gift to Dubai.
Since they wished to do something extraordinary to mark their last day of the trip, Prakash consulted Mr.Sharma and Mr. Mrigndra both, on what could be done. Both their answers were the same- AQUAVENTURE WATERPARK!
It was the exact thing missing on this trip, a fun aquatic adventure where kids and adults both can have an amazing time! And so they did!
Finally, the kid could not make up her mind as to which place or activity she liked the best. After reciting the itinerary once in a low voice, she looked up with puffy eyes and still she did not have any answer.
It happens…we all know it. When you like it all, you can't just pick one!
