From meeting our favorite characters like Bugs Bunny and Batman to riding themed attractions, it was a day filled with laughter and nostalgia. “I never thought I’d be this excited to see Scooby-Doo,” I admitted.
A Luxury Experience on Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve was nothing short of magical. We decided to splurge on a luxury yacht experience, and it was worth every penny. As we cruised along the Dubai Marina, the city’s dazzling lights created a breathtaking backdrop. The yacht was decked out with festive decorations, and we even had a mini Christmas tree on board.
We spent the evening dancing to our favorite tunes, sharing stories, and enjoying a delicious spread of food. The highlight was when I, the self-proclaimed DJ, played “Jingle Bell Rock,” and we all broke into a hilarious dance-off.

Celebrating Christmas in Global Village
On Christmas Day, we headed to Global Village, a cultural extravaganza that felt like traveling around the world in a single evening. The energy was electric, and the holiday spirit filled every corner.
We wandered through the various pavilions, each representing a different country, sampling delicious food, and picking up unique souvenirs. I couldn’t resist trying the Turkish ice cream, which came with a side of playful tricks from the vendor. “You almost had it!” he teased as I fumbled to grab the cone.
The highlight of the evening was the Christmas parade, featuring performers in dazzling costumes, domes adorned with lights, and Santa Claus himself waving to the crowd. The atmosphere was electric, and we couldn’t stop smiling.
To wrap up the day, we gathered around a cozy spot with hot chocolate in hand, watching the spectacular fireworks light up the sky. As the colours exploded above us, I turned to my friends and said, “This has been the best Christmas of my life.”
As we boarded our flight back home, we couldn’t stop reminiscing about the laughter, the adventures, and the bonds we had strengthened during this incredible journey.
