Celebrating The Magic of Diversity - Arun’s Family Dubai Trip Review
The 8-day-long Dubai trip of Arun Kumar with his family and friends was a super duper hit. They were two families travelling together, making a team of 8, with four kids and four adults. They had booked a completely private tour that encompassed all major attractions of Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
You can imagine how exciting it would have been for the travellers to explore the ‘City of Gold’ in the month of November, with mild sun and chilly winds making their trip a blissful experience! And to speak of the peak-season crowd…forget about it.
If your family is with you, you become invincible!
To begin with, let's go back to the roots
There are two sides to the city’s history- the sea and the desert. Complete opposites. They started off their Dubai exploration with desert camping and camel safari. With ATV bike rides and exotic oasis tours on camelbacks, they knew their vacation had begun with a bang!
Spending the night in tents and savouring on delicious dinner while watching a traditional Tanoura show was an unparalleled cultural experience for the entire group.
Having booked a completely private trip, they had opted for a guided city tour as well. So, while sightseeing, they could get a complete picture of the history and evolution of the city from a fishing village to one of the richest and most luxurious places in the world.
The Museum of the Future posed another interesting proposition for the kids as they grew more and more interested in science and the concept of sustainable energy. It was a great learning experience for them.
Everything seemed to collide here all at once, the past, the future, nature, science, and whatnot. Perhaps this is precisely what makes Dubai such a wonderful place in the world- its diversity.
All that glitter is actual gold!
“What in the world is this place!”
Said the kids with their jaws almost touching the floor after seeing the Dubai Airport.
“Wait for it, there is a lot more to surprise you”, replied Arun.
The sight of the skyscrapers nearly threw them off-guard, it was so different from what the kids had seen back in Mumbai. The glistening buildings and the impeccable city design of Dubai were something to marvel at. It was the first time for the kids to be travelling out of India, but for Arun, this was his third international trip. And even he was stunned to look at the fantastic skyline of Dubai.
It was a happy and exciting moment for the entire family when they realised that their stay was booked in one of the high-end hotels of the city- Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Waterfront. This was their home for the coming 8 days, and they could not be more thrilled about it! They even had a nice large swimming pool, along with a bar and restaurant.
Touring the Burj Khalifa was the mic-drop moment. They had access to the 124th and 125th floors- to the observation deck from where the entire skyline of Dubai appeared like a casket of diamonds. After quickly grabbing a cup of coffee from the ground floor cafeteria (thanks to the world’s fastest elevator to make this trip possible), they stood waiting to witness the legendary sunset. The 30-degree panorama of the city during sunset left them all stunned.
Here, the sky was a canvas and the sun was the artist. The play of colours was something unforgettable. They did click a lot of pictures, but no camera could do justice to the sight, except for the eyes and the mind.
The dhow cruise with dinner was also a marvellous experience for them, spending some quality family time laughing with a full belly.
But what topped all of these was the Dubai Aquarium and underwater Zoo trip. They fed otters and played with penguins at the zoo, and even saw sharks gliding in the tunnel aquarium with a snobby attitude. They had to skip the in-cage snorkelling experience in the aquarium due to the ineligibility of the kids, but they did not mind. They still had a lot of activities and attractions to cover.
The brilliant Miracle Garden, Dubai Marina, and the Global Village were no doubt strong participants in the competition, but the Abu Dhabi Ferrari World was the winner.
Cheers to travel, cheers to life!
The kids and the adults all had great fun in the Ferrari world, taking superfast rides and witnessing a wide range of Ferrari experiences. They could not help but shop some Ferrari merchandise from there as well. And finally, they ended their thrilling and adventurous experience with burgers, french fries, and cold drinks at the restaurant there.
This was their one and only day in Abu Dhabi, also they were to head back to Dubai by the fall of night. So they thought that the best way to celebrate their very last day in the city was with a grand dinner. So, they reserved a table at Amaya.
There, each and every dish was a work of art, crafted with the finest ingredients and offering a variety of cuisines. Although expensive, the dinner was totally worth it for the family.
It was after long that they were spending a holiday as happening and comfortable like this one.
They knew what role Thrillophilia played in making this trip so smooth and comfortable. Their appreciation of the arrangements and planning of the trip along with all other amenities such as drivers, transportation, and guides, was indeed a reward for Thrillophilia.
And Arun added in the end,
“I would definitely recommend Thrillophilia to my friends and relatives in the future, and I am certain that you will plan their trip as wonderfully as you did with us”.
