When Ankit’s wife asked to surprise her with the best anniversary gift, he instantly thought of his wife’s love for travel. She had been talking about a long family vacation for quite some sometime now...
She has always been fascinated by the charm of Dubai.
So, being the romantic he is, he booked just the right family trip package to Dubai with Thrillophilia. He was sure that this time too his trip would be memorable, like all the previous ones with Thrillophilia.
The Illuminated City of Dubai
The special occasions you share with your family are the moments you cherish forever, and doing that in the glamorous city of Dubai was like a dream come true.
The excitement of Ankit’s family was tripled when they went up to the 125th floor of ‘The Burj Khalifa’ and saw the stunning Dubai city. The view was unlike any other. The cityscape left everyone awe-struck.
What took their breath away was the sea view in the west and the desert view in the east. It felt like an intersection of different worlds.
The observation deck literally turned into a play area for the kids as they kept roaming around from one end to the other, pointing now and then at the famous landmarks of the city. After hundreds of pictures, breathtaking views, and a fun time, Ankit and his family knew why Dubai is a dream city!
With live music, great food, and an illuminated Dubai skyline, the Marina Dhow Cruise turned out to be one of the most fun evenings in Dubai for the family. The children enjoyed watching the famous sites such as Palm Jumeirah and beachside residences, while the adults savoured the cool breeze, drinks, and a good gossip session!
The City with Everything, for Everyone
Dubai is a blend of everything. It has beaches, luxurious shopping malls, historical and sacred sites, a museum, an underwater zoo, unique shows and activities, and whatnot. The city tour was a fun day for the entire family from beach to shopping to fun activities!
Everyone was amazed to learn about the mysterious life thriving under the oceans and rivers at the Underwater Zoo. It was challenging to keep everyone together in the aquarium, bursting with excitement, just as it was at the magnificent Mall of the Emirates. The mall was impressive, with every floor and corner filled with well-known brands, their bright storefronts inviting everyone to come in and fill their bags.
While enjoying all of this, Ankit could see the happiness on his wife and family’s faces and knew that there was no better way to celebrate their anniversary week.
The Desert of Fun & Adventure
Dubai vacation is incomplete without the adventurous and fun desert safari.
Ankit and his family were the most excited about this one, to explore the vast and eternal sandy land and enjoy the thrilling camel rides and ATV rides.
The safari began with a fun quad biking activity which became the favourite of the kids! After enjoying the adrenaline rush, the family went on a beautiful camel ride and a traditional exploration of the desert. The endless pictures in Ankit’s phone hold the evidence that the sunset after the activities was a rejuvenating moment for all.
But, what became the most precious highlight of the day was enjoying a BBQ dinner in the vast desert under the sky full of stars. The magical sight of the land meeting the sky at the horizon, the dance and fire show of Tanoura, and the delicious dinner, made the perfect intimate gathering for Ankit’s family. The family was sitting together, and it was the only thing that mattered the most.
For Ankit and his wife, this celebration will always be imprinted in their hearts, they seemed sure of it.
“There is beauty in barrenness and it holds true to what we experienced in the desert safari.” Ankit had told us over a feedback call session after this day.
Land of Magical Memories
In Dubai, you are bound to find happiness! That’s what Ankit and his family felt at the Global Village and Miracle Garden.
“The world’s largest flower garden is aptly named ‘miracle’,” described Ankit’s wife.
The family went crazy while admiring the beautiful, scenic tapestry and clicked endless pictures in the photographer’s paradise - the Miracle Garden! The captivating artwork done with flowers stunned everyone in the family. The garden displayed floral castles, planes, and heart-shaped arches - truly unparalleled design and craftsmanship!
After admiring the beautiful flower gardens, they visited the Global Village and had a fantastic evening. They enjoyed exciting rides and games, learned about various cultures, watched impressive shows, and savoured delicious food from around the world. Global Village was the perfect place to let loose and bring out the child within, and that is what all of them did.
Even after the trip ended, Ankit and his family couldn't stop talking about it. The kids had a fantastic time, the family connected more and made lifelong memories, and Ankit and his wife had the most wonderful anniversary celebration with the people they love.
