A Timeless Journey of Joy: Amit's Family Trip to Dubai with Thrillophilia
"Dubai, A Whole New You…" said Saif and Sara Ali Khan as the commercial for Dubai Tourism concluded. This was after a long time that Amit watched an entire ad willingly. Living in times when ads have become a huge part of entertainment, most people choose to skip them. Amit was glad he didn’t skip this one when it showed up on his laptop.

Riding roller coasters, enjoying lunch along the coastline facing Burj Al Arab, and watching Palm Island from a sky deck, all of it felt fascinating to Amit and his family. He was particularly amazed by the scene where the duo visits 'The View at The Palm' and admires the view of Palm Jumeirah.
Amit had been planning a vacation with his family for a couple of weeks. Looking at his little one, he announced, “We’re going to Dubai for a vacation!” His child’s eyes sparkled with joy, and he immediately ran to Amit’s wife and elder son to share the news. Their living room burst into cheers and giggles. Amit’s wife started imagining the breathtaking attractions they would see, while the elder son began listing all the activities they could try.

While at work last month, Amit came across a LinkedIn post about Thrillophilia, a travel agency that holds an official partnership with the Dubai Tourism Board. That made him think, why not book the trip with an agency that works with the official tourism board of the nation? He checked a few packages on their website, following which Pankaj and Kaushlendra, destination experts from Thrillophilia, connected with him for the trip.
From there onwards, everything was easy, as they took care of all aspects. From the family’s specific preferences related to attractions and popular activities to transfers, Thrillophilia crafted the perfect itinerary. They even delivered all the vouchers for activities in advance, which Amit found very convenient.
At the Crossroads of Modern Grace and Historic Beauty

The journey began with a half-day tour of Dubai, where the family got a chance to see several places. It was difficult to say which attractions impressed them the most. The little one was particularly fascinated by Jumeirah Beach, as it was his first time at a beach. Amit’s wife, being a shopping enthusiast, loved the Mall of Emirates and the Dubai Mall.
"I really wish we never left the mall ever," she said.

The family also enjoyed a delicious brunch along the coast, with views of the Burj Al Arab Hotel. Following this, their expert guide took them to Jumeirah Mosque. According to him, the mosque could host around 1,200 worshippers at a time. Its historic architecture looked so fabulous that they couldn’t help but click many selfies.
This was just the beginning. The next stop was the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo. The excitement of the children reached new heights when they saw creatures like sharks and rays in the aquarium. To add to their amazement, there were several exhibits throughout the site that offered unique information about aquatic life.

Right after completing the aquarium tour, the guide asked, "Are you ready for it?"
"One Hundred Percent," Amit replied, realising that they were now headed for the iconic Burj Khalifa.
The family looked at him with curiosity, hoping he would reveal the next stop. Amit wanted to see their delighted faces when they stood in front of the stunning tower. He was so engrossed in that thought that his jaw dropped too when they saw it for the first time. It was a hilarious moment for the entire family, including the guide.

In the evening, they were taken for the Marina Dhow Cruise, one of the activities they were most excited about. The guide shared many unique facts about the Dhow, a traditional Arabic boat. As they sailed around, enjoying a delicious dinner buffet, they admired Dubai's skyline under the starry skies.
The children were thrilled watching the professional dancers perform live during the Tanoura Show.
The 'D' in Dubai stands for a 'Delightfully Diverse Destination'

After visiting an underwater zoo and the tallest building in the world, it was time for some thrilling fun. Thanks to the elder son, Desert Safari was included in the package. The family had a great time surfing the dunes, trying sandboarding, dune-bashing, and enjoying a BBQ dinner accompanied by live performances.
Then came the visit Amit had been waiting for since the beginning of the tour - The View at the Palm. He never thought the actual view would be even more breathtaking than what he saw in the commercial.

"The level of innovation that humans have achieved is commendable," he thought, noticing that everyone around could not take their eyes off the views. As he handed his phone to his elder son to capture pictures of him with his wife, the little one asked, "Papa hum Ferrari World kab chalenge?"
Not making him wait any longer, the family quickly wrapped up the photo session and headed to the amusement park. During the visit to Ferrari World, Amit realised that his little one was an adventure enthusiast. They tried many thrilling rides and also watched the 'Ferrari World Show,' an amazing live performance by a group of artists.

Overall, the family trip to Dubai was unforgettable, and even after a week-long vacation, they were left wanting more. All thanks to Pankaj and Kaushlendra from Thrillophilia, who crafted an outstanding itinerary. Amit believes they will soon plan another trip to Dubai, as there is still so much left to explore.
Thank you, Dubai
